Me, Myself and Him From the Publisher

Locksie grew up in the church-against her will- thanks to her holier than thou mother. But now that she's all grown-up, she's her own woman and church is the last thing on her mind; her live-in boyfriend, Dawson, is the first. Locksie has shared a wonderful three years with Dawson without half the drama that her clients in the salon she manages has had in their relationships. But lately, Locksie begins to feel as though something is missing from her near perfect romance. When she goes to her favorite aunt, Mary, for some guidance, she doesn't like the direction her aunt is trying to steer her in. Locksie quickly realizes, though, that she can run from her problems, but she can't hide from the truth.

Hannah is one of Locksie's faithful clients who tries to offer her some advice, but Hannah's got issues of her own. She's struggling in trying to forgive her husband for the affair he had, while at the same time be a stepmother to the child who was a result of his affair. And all the while with the child's mother taunts Hannah every chance she gets.

In Me, Myself & Him, the characters are torn between holding on to the person they believe is the love of their life, or having to let go for the one thing that's missing from their life.

Claudette:  Excellent read!  I really enjoyed reading this book. This is indeed one of my favorite by far. My spirit was over-joyed, I was excited and I couldn't wait to turn to the next page.

It's really unfortunate that we have people on different auxiliary in church and they are just there to say I'm an usher, greeter or whatever the case maybe. A poor soul could come in church and turn around just because the atmosphere is poor and not uplifted by the Holy Spirit, a welcoming smile or a kind welcome.

Mary: Woman of God, still human but wasn't overbearing, Dawson: Lost, one day he will see the light, no one can make him. I didn't like the fact that he mock religion. Drake: True man God, but still a man. Peni: She was a heifer, how did she end up with the doctor, we will see in the sequel if this will be a good move or a bad one. Hannah: She found a good MAN. Elkan: didn't like him because of his attitude he better be happy Hannah found the LORD. Locksie: she stood strong, she got the Man she needed.

Melba:  Ladies this book is awesome!  my spirit was moving when reading this book. You should see all the marks and highlights in my book. I'm not just saying this but it's something how God works. Romans 8:28 it reads… "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." The Lord is truly speaking in this book club. Last month, we talked about his goodness and now we are reading how God would like for us to act when it comes to relationships/sins/comments/…etc. This book is making me look at things a little differently.

I thought Locksie was going to fall in love with a human being. I was thinking on the flesh side instead of the spiritual side. But I like it even more because she falls in love with Jesus!!!!!!!!!!! Aunt Mary was about saving souls. I like Mary's character because she kept it real. It's amazing how some Christians act like they have been saved all their life. We need to tell people how God brought us out. I'm just a sinner that has been saved by the grace of God. God can save you through your mess, so let's stop judging and start praying for one another because we all have sins. Romans 3:23-24 reads….. 23th for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24th and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. I'm like Locksie now! Falling in love with Jesus was the best thing that I've ever done. Can't wait to discuss!!!!!
