To bring together women from all walks of life for a time of relaxation and enjoyment. We hope that this book club will grow and
to get more people reading again.

One of the most wonderful things about a book club is that it starts being about books and grows into more than that. A story
is always better if you have someone to share it with! What could be better than sharing great books with a group of new friends?

Meet the Officers

President and Founder - Melba D. Brown - Brown is the driving force behind one of Houston's most celebrated African American owned business. Brown directs all editorial operations of the book club and writes the popular reviews each month on selective books. In addition, Melba oversees the content of all divisions of the multimedia book club & website. She also works with the local kids in the Houston community center to help establish a better source to prevent youth literacy.
